Mocha Health is a health and wellness resource for Black women, with special focuses on racial disparities and maternal morbidity and mortality. This community encourages positive social and behavioral lifestyle changes for more improved health outcomes.

Dr. Valerie Robinson
Founder

Dr. Robinson is a proud alumna of the Historically Black College, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a concentration in Chemistry. She subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services. She has more than seventeen years of experience in public health and policy, specializing in maternal health, disease prevention, and hospital administration. In addition, Dr. Robinson is a member of the international organization for public service, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Being a perpetual learner and effecting positive social change brings her immense satisfaction. Dr. Robinson is a member of various boards and committees, including the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Southern Maryland Alumni Chapter, Inc., and the Yale Women’s Mental Health Conference.

She is a wife and the mother of three remarkable children. Her favored interests include traveling, photography, running, entrepreneurship, and exploring the possibilities of serving our communities.
